The Munay-Ki Rites are for those who hear that calling.
What Are The Munay-Ki Rites?
The Munay-Ki are ten rites of initiation from the medicine way of the Andean Q'ero, the wisdom keepers of the high Andes of Peru, descendants of the Inka, who have carried these sacred transmissions across generations for thousands of years.
Munay means love in the Quechua language. Ki means energy. Together, the energy of love.
These are not teachings to be learned with the mind. They are seeds, energetic transmissions planted directly into your luminous energy field. Seeds of healing, of wisdom, of power, of love. Seeds that take root in your body, in your nervous system, in the deepest layers of who you are, and grow, slowly and profoundly, over months and years.
When you receive the Munay-Ki Rites, you are not simply attending a workshop. You are stepping into a lineage. Joining an unbroken line of Earthkeepers, healers, wisdom carriers, and dreamers who have walked this path before you — and who come to walk beside you now.
What Shifts
Those who receive the Munay-Ki Rites describe a shift that is felt in the body before it is understood by the mind.
Sometimes it is subtle. Sometimes it arrives like a quiet revolution. But it is always felt, deeply, unmistakably, as something that has changed at the root.
What shifts is this:
A growing understanding of your role in this world and how you show up in it. A connection, not just to a lineage of healers, masters, and wisdom keepers, but to the living essence of the world itself. A knowing, held in the body, that you are part of a sacred web. A sacred essence of life. Supported by a sacred, living universe.
And with that knowing, a natural orientation toward the world the ancient prophecies speak of. A world of peace, love, and harmony. Not as a distant dream, but as something you are now actively seeding with every step you take.
The Munay-Ki prophecies speak of a new human appearing on the planet. A person of wisdom and power who lives free of fear, who abides in their transcendent nature, who accepts stewardship for all of creation.
These rites are the codes for that human. They are your codes.
The 10 Munay-Ki Rites
The ten Munay-Ki Rites are received across the journey, each one a threshold, each one a transmission, each one planting a seed that grows in its own time:
01. The Healer’s Rite (Hampe Karpay)
This rite connects you to a lineage of luminous healers from the past who come to assist in your own healing and transformation.
02. The Bands Of Power (Chumpi Karpay)
Five luminous belts woven into your energy field, acting as filters that transform heavy energies into light and provide essential protection.
03. The Harmony Rite (Ayni Karpay)
Seven archetypes of the Medicine Wheel, Serpent, Jaguar, Hummingbird, Eagle, as well as three archangels, are seeded into your chakras, beginning the work of alignment and integration.
04. The Seer’s Rite (Kawak Karpay)
Pathways of light are installed connecting your visual cortex to your third eye and heart, awakening your capacity to perceive beyond the ordinary.
05. The Daykeeper’s Rite (Pampa Mesayok Karpay)
This rite connects you to a lineage of masters who tended the ancient stone altars of healing found throughout the world.
06. The Wisdomkeeper’s Rite (Alto Mesayok Karpay)
This rite connects you to a lineage of the high mountains, those who have preserved the ancient wisdom teachings through time.
07. The Earthkeeper’s Rite (Kurak Akuyek Karpay)
This rite connects you to a lineage of those who steward the living Earth, the caretakers of all creation, past, present, and future.
08. The Starkeeper’s Rite (Mosoq Karpay)
This rite anchors you in the time to come. Your physical body begins to evolve into that of Homo luminous, ageing, healing, and dying differently
09. The Creator Rite (Taitanchis Rantis Karpay)
This rite awakens the creator light within you. The stewardship of all creation, from the smallest grain of sand to the largest galaxy, becomes yours to tend.
10. The Rite of the Womb (transmitted by women only)
A sacred transmission from a lineage of women who freed themselves from suffering, reminding us that we did not come to suffer, but to be powerful creators of life, love, and healing. This tenth rite is carried and transmitted by Alrina as a woman of this lineage.
The Lineage
These rites come to you through an unbroken chain of transmission.
I trained with The Four Winds Society under world-renowned anthropologist and shamanic teacher Dr Alberto Villoldo, completing my Masters in Shamanic Energy Medicine in the Q'ero tradition of the Andes. I am a Lineage Carrier of the Munay-Ki Rites, authorised to transmit and teach these sacred initiations.
Central to my training was something rare, the living presence of the Q'ero Paqos themselves. These wisdom keepers of the high Andes were present at our ceremonies and initiatory rites. On many occasions it was the Paqos who performed those rites directly, transmitting this lineage as it has always been transmitted, from living carrier to living carrier.
To receive these rites from someone who received them directly from their living source, that matters. The transmission carries the full weight of the lineage.
How The Munay-Ki Is Offered
The Munay-Ki Rites are not a weekend download. They are a living initiation, and initiation requires patience.
At Sacred Ember, the rites are offered either in person for local participants, or online for those who cannot join in person, local Southh African participants are also welcome to join online. Our in-person gatherings take place across a set period of time, with deliberate space between each weekend for integration, embodiment, and the quiet inner work that no classroom can hold.
The rites are seeds. Seeds need time, space, and tending. At Sacred Ember, this time is honored, allowing each transmission to settle fully in the body before the next one arrives.
This is not slower. It is deeper.

No previous experience is required. These rites are open to anyone who feels called, whether you are new to this path or have walked it for years.
You do not need to transmit the rites to others after receiving them. Many participants receive for their own personal healing and spiritual evolution alone.
